Turkish Philosophy Foundation organizes Philosophy Olympics each year to raise individuals who can question, criticize and express themselves freely. This year, the 12th Philosophy Olympics was held in 12 different centers in Turkey.
The Olympics, which promotes competitive spirit by intellectual activities and encourages individuals to think about the anthropological basis of knowledge, develops education and humanitarian thinking system. In the 12th Philosophy Olympics held on 09.11.2014, our 12th grade student Öznur Hancı took the fourth place in Turkey. The student will take an English Philosophy exam in January to be eligible for representing Turkey in International Philosophy Olympics.
The 23th International World Philosophy Olympics will be held in Estonia in May 2015. We would like to congratulate our student and thank our advisor teacher and the school administration who made this possible.
