In 2014-2015 Academic Year Municipality of Erzurum organized essay, poetry, and short story competitions called “Erzurum is
Looking for Young Writers!” 450 young writers joined this competition. Many students from our school joined the competition for different genres. Our 11th grade student Gökay Bağrıyanık was ranked third in the competition with his story called “Dışlanan Renk” (Alienated Color) and he received his award in the ceremony held in Necip 
Fazıl Kısakürek Culture Center in 22.10.2015. Our student was awarded with two thousand Turkish Liras and books by Musta
fa Kutlu in the name of whom this competition was organized.
